Go Power Dyno--Help!

Post by Roy Wireman » Sun Feb 22, 2009 8:24 pm

Hi, guys--new to the site. Does anyone out there have a REALLY good knowledge of the Go-Power kart engine dynos from the 60's? I've never had one, but have an opportunity to buy one. The owner knows nothing about it, and I know even less! I can be reached directly at gearboxbygearhead@joimail.com

Update: Discussed with Louie Figone. Louie said he had (has?) a Go-Power dyno, but didn't get good agreement between power figures and track performance. Caused me to lose interest in pursuing the dyno. Thanks for the straight scoop, Louie!

P.S.: I'll be at Barnesville, GA the weekend of March 21 for the VKA event, God willing. Hope y'all are too!

There are articles in some of the early kart mags. I think it was one of the annual yearbook type.
