There were a few cast manifolds for WB / HR setup's but they are very hard to come by.
GEM V12 or V6 stuffer would also be other options.

If you notice, the middle 2 bolts on the 820 sidecover
are the exact same spacing as an HR carb.
You can take a Mac manifold, and cut the reed block part off,
then drill the holes strait through.

By using longer studs, it will mount right over the 820 side cover.
It is best to use an after market side cover, like a Reed Eng., or GEM.
And it will need to be machined flat where the Mac manifold chunk sits.
(or any voids or low spots filled with epoxy, and then cut flat)

You then cut a hole through the side cover, that matches the Mac manifold opening.
Make yourself a gasket to go between them,
and you now have a cheap HR / big Mac carb manifold.

Of coursr, if you want to use an HR on the Mac reeds,
you will need to plug the 4 pulse holes, and drill one matching the Tillotson pattern.

I have done several of these for people, and it works out real slick.

Terry, Carl and Gordon have a great idea! Of course, this will leave you with 1/4" studs - fine for the big Mac carb, but the HR and the Mikuni have holes for 5/16" studs. A quick cure: McMaster Carr has 1/4" I.D X 5/16" O.D. X 1/4" long bushings for cheap. Part No. 6391K126. http://www.mcmaster.com. I use them as spacers - they work great. Good for adapting a HR or Mikuni to your Mac big manifold, too. ;) Ted

Hey guys thanks for the tips an pics. Here's what I do with the bigger stud holes in the Mikuni; find in your old gas line collection a piece of the hardened 1/4 inch line, cut two pieces the thickness of the carb flange, use pliers and carefully screw the hose down the stud, you can do this after gasket is in place, install the carb, it will go on tightly so be ready to use a little effort or slippery slide, go jo, some kind of lube, tighten nuts and go have fun.
