I would guess it is a home built or modified quarter midget. Front axle looks 1/4 midget. Narrow front looks quarter midget. Back end looks modified from the floating back end that quarter midget's used to use.

Kyle,
at the moment i have located this kart only and am negotiating it's purchase.
it is different from anything i know about so i was curious.
if all goes well i'll be it's new owner.
if it's a quarter midget it's not something i really want.
at that point i may take offers but to be honest i might rob the drive train as it has a very nice mc5/6 attached to it.
in any event i'll probably sell the intact chassis to someone that would like to own it.

Nice little fuel tank. The Minibike guys go nuts over those tanks.

Interesting exhaust. Anybody know what it is?

Pretty cool kart.
But you can call me Harry.

Harold-
It looks like a cast aluminum "AAA" or is it "AA" ;) exhaust and header. Precursor to the GEM "Quiet One"...

My goodness, look at that leaf-spring steering hoop, I bet that sucker would give a Homelite a run for its money in the heavy weight category. Very cool kart, definitely a one of a kind.
