Hey guys, I have a couple of questions:
I understand that reproduction karts--wheels etc are OK for REAR....
so why is the repo copperhead westbend not allowed ?
I am not trying to stir anything up here but I am considering making some repo parts in the future and would like to know what the parameter/rules + regs are for repo vintage items being used in the REAR event.
Thanks in advance............>LH

The Copper Head engine is not a reproduction of any 60’s era engine, it is a modern design engine all to itself, period. Note: casting, manifold, head, reed cage, etc….
Any part or kart must be an accurate reproduction that replicates original OEM castings or original manufactured parts. Remember the spirit and intent of this whole deal is to preserve history not change or improve history or not to chase land speed records. It’s really simple, we always reserve the right to final approval or refuse anything at TBO. We have really never had any problem with this. Hopefully we are not going to get to deep into this, because you can’t change history. Give me a call or send me a PM with your ideas. Thanks Rob
