Rev-Grip bearing lube

Post by matt azzara » Fri Jan 02, 2009 12:11 am

Happy New Year...

Anyone have a recommendation for what to lube a Rev-Grip clutch bushing with? I'm used to the sweet needle bearings on Max-Torque clutches, but I now have a Mac with a bushing-bearinged Rev-Grip. Sure enough, I got that familiar chatter/squeak (like fingernails on a chalkboard) the first time I started this new motor. THX, Matt Azzara

try mil-spec turbine oil or some kind of synthetic high temp oil like Redline, Swepco, or Mobil 1
