Ready for Fremont

Post by Brian Thomas » Mon Aug 27, 2007 11:19 pm

The wife and I fired the Simplex up tonight ,she will be sporting a pair of 58's this time. After killing my shoulder and wrists at Quincy there will be NO more recoil starters on my alcohol motors . Lesson learned !!

Well
the first day at Fremont was great !! The weather was wonderful. The turn out was large , I think that there were more people and karts than last year .
The Simplex ran great , The twin 58,s made it come alive . I used more fuel in one day than the last two events we were at put together .
The guys from REAR really know how to put on Great event .
We just want to thank them for all their efforts .
Brian and Dottie Thomas :)

Well TBO 2007 was a blast , we burnt more fuel this weekend than we have at the last 2 races . Dottie even took the Simplex out twice.
We want to thank Rob , Bob and everyone else that helped make the weekend go off with out a hitch. It was the most fun we have had in a long time .
I also want to thank Jeff Troy for letting me take his Spitfire stub axle twin out so Dottie and I could run together and thanks again to Bob and Rob for letting us have the track for a few minutes .
The Simplex ran great , adding a second AH58 to it made the old gal come alive .
We did not crash or blow up , so all in all it was a very good weekend
We look foward to seeing everyone at TBO 2008 .
