The seat doesn't look big enough for his kahunas (sp?)

No doubt Randy...
Just out of frame is the optional luggage rack to store the big 'ol set of brass ones needed to drive that bad boy :o Also note the absence of a wheelie bar...I bet that front end came up pretty quick, I can't imagine how fast that thing would put you on your head.

They must have been old people. My dad Herb Dickel put a 820 west bend on a fox mini bike and we had a mac 9 on a rupp small wheel. We used to race mini bikes when they had their own class at the motorcycle races at Meadow Lakes in Amherst, Ohio Home of the Penton boys. I raced there sometime in the '60's. There were about 45 mini bikes to a class it went by wheel size and age. When I picked up my trophy at the end of the they told me I should have been racing against motorcycles I was so fast. I laped everybody even second place. The thing I remember most was that most of them had 5 horse 4 stroke and they would be started at the line and dad wouldn't start my engine until the last second but when he did everybody turned and looked to see what I was running. Those were fun times and good memorys. Herb dickel Jr.

Here's a minibike I built last year that is used daily to get the mail & has been super reliable AND is very docile in spite of it's Mac engine! It's a Mc49 .010 done by Comet Kart Sales years ago and uses a 9T driver with a 72T sprocket on 4.10-3.50-5" wheels. I gotta admit I was unsure of the powerband of a Mac on a light minibike but this combo proved to be great! CARL H.
