I've got pics of a kart that looks similar to yours. I think I got it off a UK kart site.

Hey Bob-
Would love the link to the post, a lot of the UK sites have gone under in the last year or so with the switch to the new microsoft forum software. The new photo leads me to believe A) it is a picture of the the un-restored kart in question or B) it is further evidence that the kart is a later model by the same builder. Kinda of hard to believe that two karts would share the identical mod. Thanks for the post!

Guys, I wouldn't put much stock in those seat side rails. That was a fairly common addition to karts in the middle of the country. I've seen several karts modified that way, as well as a couple of scratch built specials in the olden magazines. There's no reason to believe that Duke Fox ever built karts for sale after 1961. I believe the one in the picture was modified, though Fox might have added the rails on the leftover karts they had to get rid of. The B and C engines never made production, as there were too many problems. TJ

Do the side rail welds match the rest of the kart?

I don't have a link or remember where I found these pics- I think it was a UK site. I looked for the site, but couldn't find it.
Here's more pics.

That is the same exact kart as the one I have. The welds are identical around the whole kart. I would say the side panels are the way it came.

Well the kart is almost complete. I will post some pictures of it this week. The only thing left to do is put the engine and gas tank on.

Hey Glen-
Never heard anything more about the kart. Did it end up being auctioned off? Any follow up information would be great.
