Hey Dom! Tried to email you last week but it got kicked back to me.
The pic you posted shows all of the parts that we have. As far as I know it's complete but with the modifications noted.
The H.A. brakes seem to fit fine. I guess who ever put them on knew what they were doing.
I'll post some pics of the project as I get things done.
If anyone has some pictures of the upholstery I'd like to see them so I can reproduce it correctly.

Thanks,
Lawrence

Enzo had the Upholstery done for me in California. The advantage is he has an original to copy from.

The early Caretta's were made to order. I'm posting a picture of a 1961 Caretta with a drum brake and 4" front wheels. It sold last week on e-bay. Compare the seat back location in regards to the bend to the rear axle. The steering hoop is slanted further forward more then the early models. The small steering wheel and the extra leg room of the older model makes it comfortable for bigger guys.

It appears the brake cross link is just behind the seat hoop on both those early Carettas. The brake cross link on my Go Kart 400C is below the frame rear cross tube. The yellow Carettas in the post and the GK 400 are both from about the same era.
I like the Caretta they built with the front axle radius rods like a race car.

The dead axle model makes for a clean looking rear end. I found and bought the correct West Bend gas tank and added a chain guard. It's is done as far as I'm concerned. I'm not going to chrome the hardware.

Got the parts back from the platers last week and thought I'd post a few pics. My goal was to try to reproduce the original finish but the place is geared toward Pebble Beach concours resortations...and with all the pitting it was hard to atain originallity.
