Chris...... by your last post I know you know very little about carbs. Have you or are you able to take the top plates off the carbs? They are held down with 6 screws? If so you will probably tear the gasket and just make things worse. Either buy a service manual or take the carb off and take it to a small engine repair place and ask them to put a kit in it for you.

Another thing you can try is to prime the engine with a little gas / oil mixture straight down the carb & see if you can get it to pop. If so you probably have spark. At that point without messing with the carb try hand choking it. Shut off 100% of the air. It will force fuel thru the carb if the inlet needle is not stuck.

Where are you located? If your close to someone I'm sure they will help you. If you want to mail it I can put a kit into it for you.

From my knowledge of PP engines seals are a very weak link. Slso some PP engine ran Brown carbs that are very similar to tillotsons.

hey rob i dont know alot about them but learning i guess i can take the top plate off the carb and everything looked allright i poored a little gas down into the carb and still nothing looks like the fuel didnt even go down into the carb. im going to order a new carb rebuild kit i just want to make sure i buy the right one i dont think i will have any trouble doing it but i like to have the new parts right there when i do it so i can see just how to put them back. if all else fails i will send it out to ya rob

Chris, I found a site that has some really good stuff on Tillotson carbs, aerocorsair.com/id.htm
They explain how a diaphram carburetor works, and show how to work on it. These critters are pretty much trouble free, once they are set up right.

thanks mike i will check that out now i just ordered a rebuild kit for it so im waiting on that but all help and info is awsome i dieing to get this baby running lol
