Dart Model J

Post by VirgLove » Fri Jan 29, 2010 1:11 pm

I just picked up a very nice Dart Model J American Enduro. Does anyone have a close paint match for the orginal Gold. Thanks in advance. Hope to see some of you at Savannah next weekend...

Hey Virg-
Send me some pics of this new find of yours. Probably not going to make it next weekend, she who must be obeyed had other plans which will result in a hall pass for VIR and possibly Road America. Your 'Chappy is looking sharp...

Dan, Bring your wife with you to Ed's and break her in right. I am bringing mine and we are staying over to watch the superbowl.

I learned a hard leeson about leaving the old lady home while attending some events. Now, she enjoys coming along.............and, even wants a kart of her own (I'm putting together an R-1 for her, but it will NOT be hot pink as she wants). The benefits are tremendous...................the least of which is no more nagging about "spending all that money on that crap"!

Finally got her into a kart a couple years ago, and she finally conceded "I can understand why you like so much, it is really fun". Only problem is that I didn't have a recorder handy.
Russ, I agree the benefits are tremendous, but she still can't understand why we have so many...Unfortunately my parts hiding partner in crime, Dean doesn't live next door anymore so I can't say it's for one of his karts.

Bill, I'll get her down there for a summer or fall event when the weather is a little warmer. Talked to Dick C and the K-88 is ready for the Kendick kart. Just need to rebuild the brakes, adjust the steering height, and swap out the tires and I should be good to go.
