2017 Achievement Award and Kid Kart Give-Away

This year like in year's past we have been very fortunate to have a individual step up and offer us a helping hand over the weekend with everything from making a raffle give-away donation to canopy set-up, etc. and we cannot be more thankful for their efforts to help lighten our work load and to help make the weekend run smoothly

This year we would like to recognize Don Thompson for Illinois as our 2017 'Achievement Award' winner

Don has been helping us for many, many years and this year was no exception. Thanks for everything you do Don, not only for us at REAR but for your fellow enthusiasts and the hobby of Historical Karting and we are honored to present you a 'BIGGIE' for your continual support and help.


This year like in recent years we have been able to have a 'Kid Kart' giveaway and this year was no exception as Mike and Harold Paulsen out of Wisconsin made a super donation of a 1959 WB 520 powered Fox Go-Boy.

After eliminating the kids one at a time we had a repeat winner as Jack Sullivan from Hamilton Ohio was this years lucky winner. Jack's dad Jeff won't have to restore this one as Mike and Harold already did the handy work and she's track or show ready.

Thank You so much to Mike and Harold for such a generous donation and all of your work that went into the kart and Congrats to Jack on your win.
