We all wanted to say thanks for a great weekend. It was Katie & Bernard's first vintage kart event, so I think it's all down hill from here. It was also Bernard's first time on a kart track, he had only driven a kart for the first time one week before. To get an honorable mention for the Go Kart 800, and then to win the Fantastic Four trophy was very much over the top. It makes the 5 months, three hours every night restoring the Caretta IV worth all the effort. What really meant a lot were all the positive comments about the Caretta IV even though the Go Power wheels were not restored yet, I just ran out of time. But it will be done by next Spring, along with the 1961 Percival Hellcat that will be powered by a NOS West Bend 580. So until next summer, keep the rubber side down.
