Tucson Fun Days
Well, most of us are home from our twice-a-year Tucson Fun Days event. Larry Brown graciously hosted as always, and I acted as "secretary". Larry had two single Foxes with Macs, Pruit Ginsberg brought his Dart '91 and Lancer dual, Dean Kanocz came with his Dart '91, Paul Bennett brought his well-known Go Kart 1200 with a Mac 10, John Greaves had his nice Bug Sprint with dual Vintage 820 Benders, and I brought the Nike with the 610 Bend. We all drove a whole bunch of laps, and nobody broke or had any incidents. Dean Kanocz did his grill magic at lunch both days, and we ate like princes and princesses. For spectators, we had Pruit's sweet wife, Yolanda, Dean's father, Joe came along and was a big help in the pits, George Teitz, Pat Arnold and Stan Thompson were also there to watch and to help. All told, we had a laid-back, fun event on a great track. I want to say a big "Thank you" to all who came out. Paul Bennett came all the way from California. John Greaves came from South Central Idaho. Pruit and Yolanda drove from Los Alamos, New Mexico, and the rest of us came from Arizona. Ted Johnson
