Recently on eBay several early style Homelite 4 pedal reed cages were offered like the one shown here. I believe 18 of these were sold and I snagged a few. They are Homelite Part number 59627-2 and referred to as "Seat"
At $15 each it was a real bargain in my view even though they require a couple mods and the cutting of some reeds and support plates. The attached file shows what I did to mine and may be helpful to anyone who was fortunate enough to get some of these. There may also be more out there as these were manufactured in 1982.
Hope this helps,
Scott

Re: Homelite Reed Cage Conversion
Scott, there just might be a few of the G10 phenolic reed petals out in the shop that I can send you. I'll dig thru the stuff tomorrow and see if I still have some. I also have a bunch of the #4-40 screws, though you'll have to make your own steel backing plates. Let me know if you want the reeds. No charge for you. Ted Johnson
