Can the W.B. 580 / 700 bore be easily measured thru the exhaust ports to determine which is which ? If so what is the bore size of each ? Thx , Chris

Chris, the 580 bore is 2.0625, the 700 is 2.250. Stroke is the same. It ought to be easy to measure thru the exhaust, just be sure your caliper grounds on the port rib or cylinder wall proper, not thru the port to the crankcase cover on the far side! Remember the 580 has an iron liner, the 700 is chrome, so is not magnetic. Ted
