Dave Liberton is the guy in Kansas, he use to be the Rupp dealer in Phoenix.
Hands was a division of H and S Engineering Co. in Los Angeles. H and S made incendairy bombs in WW2.
Hands started out making permanent mold 1/4 midget wheels and then kart wheels. H and S switched to making aircraft and missile parts after WW2. I have heard that the whole place burned down when they were casting some magnesium.

steve miller wrote:rod ..its hands wheel ..if the back looks exactly like front its a dead axle kart with minibike wheels i think ..?? i no i have wheels on an old mini bike that are hands and there the same on both sides ..herd there really rare and they actually never produced them ..??? i have no idea ..
The old guy "Dave" that Dave L. mentioned above, in Kansas or wherever who bought enginepowered, told me he always had requests for those two-sided Al Hands,' and he actually used to mill the insides of two outer halves flat to put them together for people. I just bought his last two NOS 6"s, but he only had one steel half left.
