It's simple. JUST DON'T BUY FROM THEM ! If you do and get burned you deserve it. We have posted this for years now and it's well worn out.

Re: Warning: spinning_webs skipping town
If someone accepts payment and does not deliver the agreed upon goods or services, a crime has been comitted. There is a victim and a perpatrator. To say the victim deserves to be a victim is preposterious. If someone has their kart stolen from a locked garage do they deserve this? Not everyone frequents these sites and consequently does not have access to the information presented here. A 98 or 99% positive feed back looks pretty good. A lot of sellers have a few dissatisfied customers because of lack of communication on shipping dates or difference of opinion on the condition. But to say any victim of fraud or crime deserves it is highly irresponsible. Put yourself in the victims shoes.

See my above post.....I stand by it......you guys just don't get it. They are F'ing you over and you don't leave negative feedback so you are helping them rip others off. Can I make it any simpler?

Re: Warning: spinning_webs skipping town
These people have an established pattern: Somebody with a new eBay name pops up with a ton of NOS Mac (and other) stuff. Then, for a short while, everything runs smoothly........ a classic way to lure in the suckers. After awhile, they pluck all their ducks and vanish. Shortly thereafter, there will be another shill posing as an honest dealer and the cycle will repeat. If you're bound and determined to deal with these people, make your purchases at the beginning of their set-up period. And, never send them more money than you can afford to lose. Better yet, buy your parts somewhere else. The small bit extra you might have to pay is worth the peace of mind and you can help to put these crooks out of business.

Re: Warning: spinning_webs skipping town
.... several years ago I put together this page, just for this type of situation:
http://rearenginekarts.com/report%20fraud.htm
some of the links are not working now, but you can google the correction agencies, which handle this type of crime. While they might not help get your money back, at least you will scare the hell out of the other person (being contacted by these government agencies is quite un-nerving to say the least).
One other comment, if you get a refund from Paypal, don't assume they took your money back from the item seller (meaning, don't rush to send that money back when the item unexpectantly shows up). Many times Paypal can not recover the funds, and pays you out of their own pocket (its part of their cost of doing business, and covered by those really high Paypal fees). I had this happen to me once, and when I asked paypal to send the money back to the ebay seller, they thought I was crazy (because they never took it from them), their attitude was that if I had the item and my refund then I should be really happy and stop bothering them.
