TBO 2012 Invitation

As the summer time flies by and the Labor Day weekend rapidly approaches, we would like to extend an invitation to all the R.E.A.R. engine kart enthusiasts to attend “The Big One”. In an effort to make this a fun filled weekend we strongly urge you to review the R.E.A.R. Guidelines and “The Big One” event pages. Please note that special room rate has been arranged at the Clarion Inn but you MUST mention that you are here for “The Big One” to get the special rate. The R.E.A.R. guidelines will be strictly enforced (no exceptions) and we strongly recommend that everyone inspects their kart and Safety Apparel to make sure everything is up to snuff. After all it’s YOUR head and YOUR butt on the line. This years event is shaping up to be larger than all previous years and we want everyone to have a safe and memorable weekend. We are looking forward to meeting many new friends along with seeing all of our old ones at what is the greatest celebration of the golden years of karting. Hi, Rob (and Ted),

I'm in too. Made my res last week, but hoping that the magazine deadline doesn't hit me again like it did last year. This is my favorite event, and last year's was the only one I missed since I found the vintage karting group in 2003.

Jeff, I know Charlie and I will be glad to see you. We missed last year as well. Charlie decided to attend Brodhead instead. Decent event, but the camaraderie just wasn't the same. The Fremont bunch is special, and that's in major part due to Rob and Bob. TJ
