I just found some more old photos. These are from Cuddebackville (OVRP) 2001. Cuddebackville, NY is the closest track to us (Murph & myself) that will let vintage karts on their track. I had just finished restoring my first kart. It was the maiden-voyage for my RUPP-X w/ a WB-700. Bud Murphy (Rob refers to Bud as “Black Bart”) brought his Yellow Caretta and had just put together a RUPP for his daughter, Lizzi, to run. Rob and Bob came out from Ohio. Mark Parker showed up with his blue Fox w/triples. Mario & his wife came down from Canada. Mike Schlager came down from up-state NY with his matching RUPP-Chaparral and Rupp-Chaparral-Enduro.
I have a good memory, but it’s short. Can’t remember everyone else’s names. Chime in if you were there.
