Vic.. Go with the Best Hospital. We are fortunate that in Ohio, we have some of the Best. Loma Linda has always been considered a Great Hospital .. I'd suggest going with it if you have a choice. There is a guy in Ohio who makes custom axles.
His name is Don Axe and his number is 419.733.4221
Tell him Rick gave you his number.
He has an OD grinder and makes 1" and 1 1/4" axles and can get them plated...
He'd be the one to call..

The rules said you could use any gasket and I used the gasket to block off the passage..
The Plug, well that's another story... LOL
We went through many tech's and never was disqualified..

This Mac 9 engine comes with the Azusa Velosity Stack, Rev-Grip 9 tooth clutch, GEM Starter Cup and GEM Muffler. The only item that is Repoped is the Mc 9 engine tag. Before I bought this engine, it had been stored for 40+ years inside a house in a closet... This engine has never been totally disass...

Just a little thought... When the Rookie Class ran the 49C (flatback carb).. We found that if you blocked off the 9-port passage, the motor was faster. We would use an block to Reed plate gasket that blocked off the passage. In addition, we use to make a plug to "stuff" the passage. I have used 9 po...
