You haven't got the bill for this yellow one yet! Do you have a home equity loan open?
Just kidding
I hope to test it tomorrow.

Re: E Bay Rupp with E 65 s
Chris,
Are you restoring a Rupp or E65's or both?
I don't know anything about Rupps, but I have several E65's.

Re: Ebay - NOS Clinton 500
I bought one from him last year and I have seen him list several more. He must have stumbled onto a shelf full of them. They have sold for as much as $635. I was in that particular biding frenzy. We didn't know that he had more to sell.

Re: Wanted Go Power Clinton manifold
Go Power made a manifold for the E65 and one for the A400/A490. Both models had just 4 bolt holes for mounting to the block even though the E65 block has a 6 bolt capability. The A400/A490 version had small 'fuel lines' that supplied fuel mixture to the crank bearings. This was done so that the bush...

Anybody looking at the 'Rupp Dart w/ Clinton Eng' on Ebay
Auction # 250705555753
I don't have any interest in the kart, but I would like to have the E65's.
Anybody want to split the auction?
I know, I know, they should probably stay together, but I like Bugs.

Re: Need MC-10 head gaskets
Dave, If you look at a 51224 head, you should see a raised sealing ridge that is approximately 2.235" diameter. The head gasket for an MC-10 has a cut-out for the piston/cylinder that is no more tha 2.160" diameter. That gives the head a .0375 "crush ring" all around the gasket. The MC-6 head and ga...

Re: Need MC-10 head gaskets
Dick,
Thanks, but unfortunately the MC-10 gaskets from www.kartsandparts.ca are not correct. He made the piston cut-out the same size as MC-6 which will not allow the MC-10 head to seal correctly. The 'sealing ridge' on the MC-10 head is different.

Re: Need MC-10 head gaskets
Ted,
I think I asked Ron a while back and he didn't have any to spare.
I may try a local waterjet guy for a prototype for the sake of convenience.
If he doesn't do a good job, I'll be ringing your phone!
