Re: Need Help To I.D. Kart

Yes-please put up the photos!!! I would love to see them. This one is a bit of a drive from our location, but if it's a Go Boy it will be worth it. Perfect for the A400 I'm fixing up. Thanks!!! And-if anyone else out there has a pic of an original Go Boy like this kart, please don't hesitate to shar...

Re: Need Help To I.D. Kart

This thing is still for sale-now that I've studied it more,it sure looks like a Go Boy with an extension welded on the front and some kind of flag mount on the back.....the triangular side plates, the steering set up, and the fact that it has two engine mounts, tell me it's not likely to be a fun kar...

Yup-that's why I asked. It looked different from the original one. What do these engines use for rod and wristpin bearings?

Re: Clinton A400 Issues

I saw a rod that had the number 2422-A then 245-110-500...Will that work?
Also-I will need a rebuild kit for the carb. Thanks.

Re: Clinton A400 Issues

Thanks-I am not going racing-so the stock carb would be okay, I guess. I will need a rebuild set. I really don't feel like drilling a hole for vacuum......

Re: Clinton A400 Issues

Thanks again Terry!!! I have a question or two regarding Tilly carbs :
1)I see some HL166 carbs onEbay for under 25 bucks. Are these good carbs?
2) If I run a gravity feed into the Tilly from a Panther gas tank, do I still need the Tilly pump?
Thanks-we'll get this thing goin'.....
