Re: Looking for Margay Gearbox education

Dominic,
Thanks. The one resource I had, that I never thought to look in. So if others are interested, the Enduro had a 25 intermediate gear matched to a 75 output gear and the Indoor or "All Purpose Range" box had an 18 intermediate gear matched to an 82 output gear.

Looking for Margay Gearbox education

I have searched all the material I can find about the Margay Safari Gearbox and wanted to confirm my understanding. It appears that the box came as a "Sprint" model and also a "Enduro" model. The difference being the intermediate gear and the output gear in the box are different. I believe the Sprin...

Re: Wtb complete rupp kart for restoration

Mike, RobRon will sell you a new Dart Kart and the price isn't bad when you consider the cost to "restore". He is listed in the Parts and Resources Section of this web site. I do have a narrow hoop A-bone that I restored for my daughter about 5 years ago. It was built to run, it is not a show qualit...

Re: Tire question

Scott, I good choice of tire for your kart is the Cheng Shin slicks. They look very close to the old Carlisle racing slicks of the day and perform great. They are available for 4", 5", and 6" wheels depending on what sizes you have. They are reasonably priced and readily available. Check American Po...

Re: TBO 2011 - Photos

Jeff,
Great pictures as always. Thank you for spending so much of your time taking these pictures and documenting this great hobby and this event. I know it costs you a lot of seat time and I appreciate the effort.
Regards,
Bob

Re: The Big One management

I too would like to thank Rob & Bob for putting on this great event. I have been to the last 6 and am already looking forward to next year. As of Sunday afternoon I have a great jack thanks to The Big One raffle and only need to buy a spare for my trailer to make sure I am there for next year's Satu...

Re: WTB Mac 40 shroud decals

Phil,
Did you contact Gonzalo (Peeweepinstriping)? He has been responsive to requests. I know he has the Mc45 sticker. It would be relatively easy for him to copy that artwork and make the 5 a 0.

Re: Name Tags

Ted,
Not to get political on this forum, but unfortunately if our politicians, both Republican & Democrat, don't start caring more about America and less about their own parties, Medicare won't be paying for anything, along with the rest of our government's commitments!
