Re: Beating the bushes

Dean, yep, born and raised there. We had a guy in the group with an early 442, the one with tiny drum brakes. He ended up crashing onto the tracks at the end of the road after making three back to back runs at "Procter & Gamble". Don't let your son read this, street racing BAD BAD BAD. I had a 66 go...

Re: Beating the bushes

In the late 60's it was "K" & "L" streets in Sacramento. I had a totally ugly, all gold (no bumble Bee strip) 68' 340 Dart with 4.10's. It was a sleeper for sure but we ran around with 90 psi. in the fronts, torsion bars cranked all the way up and a new set of "Polyglass" rears about once a month.

Re: THE BIG ONE 2008 !

Bob & Rob, FYI, the REAR Guidelines button on the home page opens the flyer for TBO 08 instead of the guidelines.

Hey Ted, I think I am going this year so if I can help you or Charlie with transportation let me know.

Re: bolt question

Brian, although I'm a big McMaster-Carr fan, I often get fasteners at Bolt Depot
http://www.boltdepot.com
They have a pretty good selection, prices are normally good and I have had good service from them. Check em out.

Re: New Castle Robopong 200 on SpeedTV tonight at 6pm ....

Thanks for the heads up Jeff. I recorded the first airing earlier this month and there was no mention or footage that I saw of the vintage karts except a short interview with Lake Speed wearing a Vintage Kart Olympics ball cap. That doesn't mean they will air the same exact program It's great to see...

Re: Kart transport TBO

Hey Ted, if you can get your stuff to Brodhead I can get you to TBO. Getting it back would be a head scratcher though. Just a thought>
