The hat type ferrule on the left (with just one cone) is just like the ones that come on the MCP Master cylinders and Calipers. The barrell ferrule on the right is what you normally see for brass fittings.

ARP doesnt have the 12-36 bolts but will make two of them for $900.00 Mostly Engineering setup costs.
Could the rod be sucessfully re-threaded to 12-32 thread??????

Aircraft spruce nor Granger.. MSC.. McMaster Carr carry the 12-36 thread rod bolts. Anyone have an extra set laying around their shop?

Are the rod bolts for the Hyprod rods the same that the Big J rods use? I have a Hyprod rod and the allen cap stripped out and I had to drill the bolt and use an easy out to get it out. Now I need two rod bolts for the rod.

You may have to use shims to get the proper clearance especially if you are using new pads.
