See eBay item # 400167384630. The part number seems correct with the 787 prefix, but never saw this style used. Had I even thought is was a "Y" part, I wouldn't have posted it here.

Thank you Rick for nailing this one down, I never did find the rear brake ass'y mfg'er, but its reasonably evident that isnt necessary at this point. I found the kart in Springville N Y, about a half hour south of Buffalo. It had a 3 hp B&S on it which I quickly unloaded. I'm an hour south of Buffal...

I suppose the only way to I D this old kart is by its unusual front bumper, ignore the 4-cycle plate on the rear, it was an add on and has since been removed since this picture is quite a few years old.
