Re: Mc10 Challenge at TBO

Frank, Please bring your Duke Fox, we have no problem with you running it on original tires and were sure everyone will enjoy seeing this unique piece of America's karting past. It seems that aside from the Mc-10 Challenge the Clinton boys will not be outdone and they will be out in full force again...

Re: D-44/55 Mac saws

Terry, Here are kart piston bore sizes. Don't know how much overbore you can go. Perhaps Bob Corwell will chime in with a piston source, he's a saw guy. Model - Bore Stroke Displacement MC2 - 2.165 x 1.635 = 6.05 MC5 - 2.125 x 1.375 = 4.9 MC6 - 2.125 x 1.500 = 5.3 MC7 - 2.165 x 1.635 = 6.05 MC8 & 9 ...

Posting Photos

It seems that posting photo images has become a problem of late for some reason. To post images you need to use a hosting site for you photos such as Photobucket . We have been using a site called postimage at postimage.org and have been having good results. Please do not try to post images straight...

Re: what are the differences from the mc100, 101, a,b,c,d?

Dean, No expert on Mc engines. This might answer a few questions. There were port changes, carb differences, side cover differences, crankshaft PTO dimensions and threads and a host of other small changes within the letter designations also. Perhaps someone more knowledgeable could break down the ex...

Re: R.E.A.R. at O.V.K.C. Swap meet

Bill, If you missed the OVKC meet you missed a good one. There were motors and chassis there. This weekend there is the Millers Performance Swap Meet, Ross Co Fairgrounds, Chillicothe Ohio. Never attended, may be more auto oriented but they list it on kart websites so you never know what might show ...

Re: The Power Products PP58 AND 81, 82

Bob, Steen's offered a adaptor plate #P27F that allowed the #P27D Dual intake manifold for a AH -58 to be used on the AH 82 engine. Not sure who the actual mfg. is on the components, could be Palmini. There were a lot of folks popping out hot rod parts in the early days so there should be something ...

Re: Westbend 820 crank

Bob, Most all West Bend engines were made for industrial applications and they continue that tradition today so if the crank end was not cut or broke off you have a power plant for something other then a kart. Pretty sure the 820 was used on generators, water pumps, jaws-of-life and many other appli...
