Tom, The February 1964 Karting World magazine has a Neal test on whats called a Torsion Flex Kart. The seat looks almost exactly like a Dart A-Bone seat, smooth material and flat side cushions. The first question should be were McCulloch karts even numbered or was this a previous owner added number ? No Mckart expert here so can't answer your question
