Re: D-44/55 Mac saws

Fitting/filing oversize rings to a standard bore I believe would be preferred over boring. leaving an end gap of .012"-.018" would have best results. Re: Not a kart but its REAR engined and American

The 2J fan car used a JLO 760cc twin carb, fan cooled snowmobile (Arctic Cat Panther) engine, which was plagued with reliability problems. Never saw it run but did get to see the Pennzoil Chaparral run in 79, 80 and 81. It was also another great Jim Hall innovation.

Re: presale hartman 10 tooth drums remanufactured $75 + core

He also stated that the inner side of sprocket area shouldn't be machined or altered in anyway for it to be a good usable core drum.

ebay downer:(

It has been discussed on ebay discussion forums that soon a 180 day return program will go into effect in Nov-Jan 2015 on all items, including all these vintage kart items. It would seem that one could run your rebuilt kart engine a full season and return it for a full refund in oct. 2015. I know it...

I see he's move his location but still in Pa. He skunked me on a 58128 McC crank years ago, turned out to have a turned undersized rod journal and It wasn't discovered in time to do anything about it, but I didn't forget, I know Jeff got hosed by this FRAUD, as for me, never again with this Alpha Ho...
