thanks ron, for reply. although i bench race as much as anyone, the history-development-testing-etc has always been of great interest to me. you just didn't know back then to 'keep everything'

kevin, many will say the 100cc 91b1 is the best mac ever made and for 'pure' racing, back in it's day probaly was. as for my vintage outlook, cost of replacement parts, maintainance etc, i like mc92. recessed block for copper 'o-ring' head gasket (reusable). it's is easy to blow a head gasket on oth...

i'm not very nice. left akron ohio 1993, live approx 1 hour from my stomping ground, ft myers beach in port charlotte fla. been out of the state once, b-ville 2009. all we have are hurricanes. we took a direct hit aug 13 2004 catagory 4---hurr charlie. 27 people died in the aftermath.....i remember ...

for the cover, even found one in my old tool box..was lucky and found 3 silver engines recent;y for vintage events and none had the cover or straps..some us did run that way in the 70's....so..., money order-cash,..got b-ville in mind with a mac 75

820 has a chrome 'wall', the 610 is steel. you might have this tool in your box. it's pencil in shape with a magnet on one end. thru the exhaust port, insert toward '9' port side and feel the pull and attachment to the steel wall...........some of us back then, did have an 820 bored and a steel line...

i thank all who replied and the interest shown. i have just have the one inner plate and nxt summer will go on my panther. ithought there was a washer that was 'kinda' avail the went between the crank and pto bronze bushing. i remember my dad taking a punch and hammer and 'shotpeening' the inner rac...
