Aha! I was beginning to wonder if that was the trick. Thank you again!

Re: Recommended blind wrist pin puller?
Rob, Did your stud have RH or LH threads? Mine has RH threads, though I've always wondered if someone had modified it. Maybe I don't understand how to properly use the tool as a puller, but if the piston/rod assembly is inside the ring with the mandrel inserted through the wrist pin, and you are tur...

"I suppose you can use that knowledge to impress chicks..."
I found that very funny, by the way. I know one young lady who builds extra-legally fast mopeds, and she would love that info for sure!

Re: Recommended blind wrist pin puller?
I purchased a used "Pin Pal" on ebay several years ago. Unfortunately, when I received it, the threads on the mandrel were knackered. Shouldn't these be LH threads anyway?

I am referring to the solid side piston. Needs to be pulled out, not pressed through.

Re: Anyone DIY reed petals for Go Power?
Those are some great suggestions, Doug. Thank you! Black Dog Vintage Racing was kind enough to supply some .016 G10 reeds, so those will get me going. Perhaps I can experiment more, once the machine is up and running!

Recommended blind wrist pin puller?
Gentlemen,
What wrist pin puller do you recommend for pulling 1/2" McCulloch blind wrist pins? I need one, but there seems to be a lot of junk out there. Which ones work?
Thanks!!!

Re: Anyone DIY reed petals for Go Power?
So... Minutes after finally posting the question, I discovered that Black Dog shows them. That certainly solves a problem. I would still be interested in the prospect of making my own, if there's any advice out there.

Anyone DIY reed petals for Go Power?
Guys, I've been quizzing the internet for info about making reed petals from laminate stock or by modifying existing manufactured reeds. I haven't found much information that I deem trustworthy. Does anyone here have any experience with this, or advice on this topic? Or, skipping to the end, does an...

Re: MC 90 flatback pop off
Since I'm finding pressures similar to a duckbill carb, I wonder if the inlet spring is incorrect? I may have even done it at some point. Gonna test that theory. I searched for a correct one on eBay last night. Order confirmed and on it's way.
