I have a Bug brochure that list the track as 31/36. I'll see if I can attach it here.

Thanks for all the replies! As mentioned in an earlier reply, the February 1961 cover of Karting World does show the MC-6 with tillotsons. Since the early MC-6 came with a Tillotson, my current plan is to use one Tillotson HL 320 on each engine. I think that will produce a fairly correct and tractab...

I haven't seen too many HL93's for sale.
I'm thinking about one of the newer Tillys - like an HL304
I know it wouldn't be 'period correct', but I wouldn't have to worry about worn shafts, etc.
Would I be stoned or shunned for doing that?

Carburetor choice for MC-6

I'm building a few MC-6 engines for my Bug.
Looking for recommendations for the carbs.
Not interested in being the fastest one out there.
I would prefer easy tuning and synchronization - am I dreaming?
Flatback, Tillotson?
