Re: Rupp Super K info wanted.
I've finally found an ad for the 1961 Rupp Model KJ. My kart is damn near identical.....pedals, steering wheel, control rods, front axle gussets ,etc .

Re: Safety Tip
I've used Halon extinguishers. They work great and leave no residue..........but they are expensive.

Re: Rupp Super K info wanted.
Yep..........$219 was way out of my snow shoveling and lawn mowing money budget back then. I remember seeing A490 equipped Billbrook karts advertised for $99.99 (plus $10 shipping!) and thinking I MAY have been able to afford one of those.

Re: Rupp Super K info wanted.
Pedals have a flat area where the hole for the rods attach. The hole in the frame where the pedals attach are nearly up to the front axle and there is no indication that any other holes slightly rearward. Engine mounts are welded to frame with raised pads front and rear....typical of a Super K. Ther...

Rupp Super K info wanted.
I recently acquired a Rupp Super K kart . At first I thought it had been modified because it doesn't have the flat pad pedals, aluminum half-moon steering wheel, and rear crosswise mounted Rupp/Palmini fuel tank. Then I found an advertisment showing a kart with the Rupp L shaped pedals, round slotte...

Re: Simplex Challenger?
Yes. It was a dual side rail very similar to the MK 4/Mk3 but with dead stub rear axle.
