Re: Mac seal and bearing #s?

Re: Mac seal and bearing #s?

Tom,

I'm working on John Mullen's Ala Kart. Trying to put the twin Mc6s together and hurting for parts. Where can you get the soft aluminum plugs for the rear transfer ports? hoping when finished it will pass Carl Buchanan's inspection! Frank

I searched for Rob's old post on Mac seal #s and can't find it. I need the seals for the early small Macs. 6, 7, 8. Also flywheel and pto bearings. Can anyone help? Thanks, Frank

Re: Beating the bushes

OK Dean I'll try to convert them. Any how I have a pic helping a guy in 1970 at Thunder Valley in Sioux Falls. I'm standing in front of the car, a lot thinner then. The car is one of the infamous COPO Camaro's. Iron block 427 and a Turbo 400, it ran SS/DA in the low 11s. Frank

Re: Beating the bushes

Dean, How can I post the pics? I changed them to bmp and still no dice. Yeah George, 12.70s at about 108. Then I pulled the motor and put in a new 427 -425hp. That thing was unreal. On 7" Firestone Drag 500s it ran 12.04 twice at 116 and it was sliding around quite a bit. Would have gone 11s easy wi...

I think that is Virg's kart that Quentin bought at the Big One a couple of years ago.
