Re: Will Wiseco 9 port pistons work in a MC 75

Here's a couple styles of Mc-75 boost port pistons. Don't put the piston in backwards.

The difference is they require their own special 9 port piston which has notches at the bottom of the skirt to clear the crankshaft counterweights and a scallop cut on the exhaust side at the bottom of the skirt to clear the large PTO bearing pocket at BDC....

Did somebody already bag the fuel tank? The correct tank will set you back close to half what the kart costs.

Re: best two cycle oil for running 580 westbend

Quote from West Bend master service manual, section five, page 1. In a separate, clean container, thoroughly mix three-fourths (3/4) pint of SAE 30 or 40 oil with each gallon of gasoline. Use a regular grade of gasoline. High test ethyl gasoline is not recommended. Use any good quality outboard, 2 c...

Re: 4 Bolt Mc6

Earliest style Mc-6 coil as far as I know. Right or wrong I converted my Mc-6s to the later non soldered style because I have all the NOS parts required to make the switch. Steve, yes .008" - .010" air gap. You'll notice that the plug wire location on the Mc-10 coil is on the top while the later coi...

Re: 4 Bolt Mc6

Mc-10 coils have two hard soldered short leads with female bullet connectors on the free end. One is for a kill switch and the other is for the points. There is a plastic sleeve over the connectors to insulate them. No need to unsolder them, just disconnect them.

Re: need a Mc 6 flywheel

I should ad HL 93A with choke. It's an early Mc-6 with the one piece plug boot/cover.
