Re: My new Hornet Sprint
Robert, You need to track down Jeff Brown out of Michigan, he had some super nice maybe even N.O.S. Precision Wheels for sale at THE BIG ONE this year. Not sure if they sold because they were not cheap but as everybody knows 'pretty costs money' and these were pretty wheels. R.E.A.R. P.S. love the f...

Ron,
If you looking for some shop space you can always send a race ready Penton Berkshire over my way. I'd be more then happy to store it for you and of course run it every so often just to keep it in tune. LOL.

Re: 1963 Rupp Grand Prix Question
Scott,
Pretty sure the early Darts came with the tag you have. Real thin nickel or chrome plating on a brass tag.
In 65 the Grand Prix was added to the tag but the tag style you have with just i.d. numbers was still used on the Grand 'A'.
I have both a G.P. and a 'A'.

Re: Some more TBO Photos 1
Steve,
Not positive but I think the kart your after was brought by 'BIG MARK' and Dan Klutz from C.K.I. fame from the Carolinas.
If thats is the kart they had for sale it was a real original beauty but it was sold.

Re: Frustration
Dominic,
Start making your plans now and come out next year. Bring a helmet, a jacket, and a good appetite. We'll get you some laps in something I can gaurantee you that.
Oh...and bring plenty of good stories about the old days too.

Re: TBO Special Bonus winners
Found this ad in the December 1959 issue of Quarter Midget and Karting World magazine. No mention of color choices, the ad was black and white but the kart appears to be a light color so the yellow might not be that far off. Picture is small and faded but it almost looks like the kart didn't even ha...
