Re: Clutches used in Margay Gearboxes with oil bath housing?

Andy,
Thanks for the information. I don't think the Max Torque has heavy springs and I have a heavy spring for the Rev Grip, so I think I'll try that.

Thanks Rob. Anyone know about what year the oil bath was introduced?

Clutches used in Margay Gearboxes with oil bath housing?

Need some help. I have a Margay gearbox with the oil bath clutch housing. What clutches could be used for this application? Also curious when the oil bath mount was introduced? I have run the dry mount with a Max Torque but never saw the oil bath mount back in the day. Thanks, Bob

Re: AUCTION PALMINI BRAKE

Rob,
I have my checkbook ready. It will go on the early Bug with the 2 Mc10s. Maybe even have it finished for The Big One.

Re: MC5 clone ignition install help

Michael.
Insulator first, then the two wires. Order of wires doesn't matter.

Re: MC5 clone ignition install help

Michael, I'll try to talk you through this. Go to the engines section of this web site, locate the original McCulloch IPL for the Mc 5. I will refer to the drawing numbers on Figure 2 - Powerhead Assembly. The wire from the condensor (#15) goes to the post on the points. Don't forget the insulation ...
