Guys, Linda Hughes lost her battle yesterday. A great loss to us all and most of all to Vince. Not a better karting couple have we had in our midst. My prayers go to Linda and Vince.

Scott, That is a great find! Contact Dave Bonbright and Ernie Fisher, they raced in the SF Bay Area those years and probably knew the kart and the owner. I raced during the same era in the Bay Area but I do not remember that kart. I would do as Tom Smith recommends but also would pull the barrel and...

Kevin, It's a 1968 or newer A-bone. Nice shape, looks straight and wheels look good. Should be an easy restoration. If you are going to run dual engines look for a 7 quart Rupp tank, duals are hungry, especially if you run alky. You will want to run metalic lining if you keep the Bendix brake, bette...

Wally, 1968 was the first year for the narrow hoop A-bone. Did you get the sprocket?

Tom and Rob are right, they are spacers to fine tune the pop off pressure. 9 to 10 lbs works on the Mikuni and the large Tillotson on gas.
