Re: Vintage Expansion Chambers

Steve.... as we have both spent a large part of our lives thinking about how to make a 2 cycle engine run faster what did you think of the mid 80's Vevy pipe? Also I ran Mako pipes from Al Nunly for a lot of years and still have them. I liked his theory's and it was understandable. We ran a SM on a ...

Re: Vintage Expansion Chambers

Gordon Jennings, Roy Bacon, John Robinson and A Graham Bell. They ran long stingers into the belly of the and even ran them out the side of the belly. Remember most all info you find is bike related and the WOT / driveability is much different. I used to really be into this stuff in the 80's & early...

Start looking at rod angle, port open time, dwell……..and the list goes on…….oh yea don’t forget it changes the c...

Re: Snap-On Paint

.010 shim stock about 3/8" wide and 6" long with one end curled in about 1/8" and 1" from the end. Pull drawer 1/2 way out and slip shim in each side. Drawer will slide right out. Just did it the other day.

Re: Need Help with Hartman Dual Carburetor Linkage

I don't think gear drive will work with this manifold. Get ahold of some old mags and I'm sure you can find a picture. Lots of times they pulled one carb with a short rod (coat hanger / welding rod) to pull the second carb.
