WTB: Two Saw Blocks S44/55 & 1-72

I am looking for two saw blocks for a couple of projects. If anyone is willing to part with a S44 (or S44/55) block or a 1-72, please let me know.

Thanks,

Kurt

Re: Pulling the Pin

My engine was a private sale from an estate. No hard feelings, whatsoever, on my part. As I heard during a Pens/Devils sportscast once, when NJ's superstar goalie, Martin Brodeur, got pulled from the net: "Even Betty Crocker burns the odd cake."

Re: Pulling the Pin

Bob, Your procedure for pulling that pin was beautiful to behold. I don't intend to hijack your thread, but I also have to agree that going over a new-to-you engine is mandatory. Maybe this topic should become a thread all its own. Last season alone, I observed two newly rebuilt engines try to run a...

HL22 looks similar:

Looks like they're out there. Good luck!

Re: Electric starter question

So... I have found some consensus in various corners of the internet (LOL!) regarding these statements: 1) If the motor uses permanent magnets, you can reverse the rotation by reversing the polarity of the power source. 2) If the motor uses field coils, you need to reverse the polarity to the brushe...

Re: Electric starter question

My starter for my Macs uses a Ford flat head starter motor. I think I read somewhere that if you clock the brush holder differently, that'll reverse the rotation. I'm looking for documentation for that... I can't imagine it applies to starter motors, but I accidentally learned how to reverse a GM po...

Re: Mac Info.

That site has been down for a while. As far as I can tell, from looking at other forums like arborist sites where Mcbob/Ozflea/Bob Cornwell would frequently post, he seems to have passed away in July 2017 at 69 years old, and his site died with him. He was known for amusing posts, interesting questi...
