It's definitely the Duke Fox kart. There was a fairly long discussion thread on it a couple years back. I believe Glen Anarumma (sp?) found one and was going to restore it and auction it off for a foundation.

Re: Need some Chaparral help
Hi Bill- Easiest thing to do is drill the heads out taking special care not to wallow out the holes. No way to get them out of the frame unless you cut it :( so most of the old karts can realistically be called rattle traps :D Can't speak to the exact gauge of the floor pan, but I am sure someone wi...

Re: Emmick Decals
Hey Frankie- Try contacting Ed Sahagian (Mr. FEDCO) he may have something squirreled away that you could digitize (Ed is a big Emmick fan and has several enduros). It would make the whole process A LOT easier than building from scratch (pain-in-the-assets). I had heard that Emmick tossed ( ) a...

Re: Wanted Hands Wheels
I just listed a complete set, the one's I swore I'd never sell.... Yes, they're listed high because they are in REALLY good shape overall and they're damn near impossible to find. Price is a little negotiable for an off FeeBay sale. I also listed some other uber rare stuff including an Ala Kart stee...

Re: red devil sprinter
How classic is this? 3 karts by the same manufacturer and all them are unique  AND the only known examples of each. I know of three more Red Devil sprinters, including an Enduro with the fiberglass tank, that are in deep storage in the Mid-West. Personally, I'd like to find a '69-'70 like Haydt...

Re: red devil sprinter
This is what I've been able to piece together with regard to Red Devil karts. Red Devils were known for their enduro chassis but they made at least 4 sprint variations. The first, called the Enduro, was built by Don Hanley (aka Don's Karts) in Butte, Montana circa '64 it had an integrated fiberglass...

Re: You Have To See This!
I think he has some lingering delusional notion of value since he sold Action Comics #1 for $1801.26 (aka Superman #1) back in 1973. You have to hand to the guy, he's the ultimate kart troll/salesman. He pops up every 6-months or so with some stupid priced kart gets tons of hits on E-Bay and lights ...

Re: margay cheetah
Hey Mike- I believe yours in the Cheetah kit kart based on the front bumper (no front porch), fiberglass nassau panel, and shape of the fiberglass seat. It was the transitional kart between the New Breed sidewinder and the Concept/Cheetah Mark II. It shares a lot in common with the New Breed in term...

Re: Machine Shop - equipment information sharing
Thanks for the downloads Jeff, good stuff. There is a great publisher of rare, odd-ball, out of print, old timey, DIY books called Lindsay's Technical Books. http://www.lindsaybks.com/ I've got a 4-5 reprints from them on how to run a milling machine and they sell copies of the manuals above at a VE...
