Re: Ford v Ferrarri

I think it's a great movie, a longer movie that doesn't seem like it. Someone wrote in a car magazine that Ken Miles was not as difficult as the movie made him out to be but that made him fun. We got to see it in IMAX and would recommend.
My wife is not a "car girl" but she loved the movie.

Re: 35 Chain

Dean, if it's an outboard clutch the space chain is fine. With the inboard Rev Grip there is interference with the pto bearing boss, at least on 91b1's. The clutch just sets in to far and the extra width of the chain will rub but only for a few seconds

Re: Horstman Rev-Grip Help/Trade

Terry, I'm not sure about the early Rev-Grip but all the ones I have there is a difference in the spiders inboard to outboard. The spider in your picture is inboard. The drums are interchangeable but use a different nut. I assume you have a tapered crank, left or right hand? PM me your address and t...

Re: Crank Seals?

Vince, The last time I bought SKF seals I used KSC Direct. It's the online division of Kelley Supply. They listed all the MAC engine and Margay gearbox seals I needed and their pricing was good, under $5 for engine seals. It took about a week because they didn't have all the seals in stock but they ...

Re: Machine Shop - equipment information sharing

There are a boat load of utube videos showing various machine operations. Some are very good. I went through machine shop training in the service for several months and then they made me a truck driver. Maybe there's a reason there but I never practiced what I learned. The videos help bring some of ...

Re: boring fixed head McCulloch blocks

Steve, Ernie's right, best to call 912-330-9120. I ran down at Robeling Road a couple of years ago and visited his shop which is a stones throw from the track. A+ guy, nice shop behind his home, total enduro guy.
