On another thread they are talking about aluminum flywheels. Sometimes we take things for granted because we have been doing them so long. A few engines are notorious for blowing up flywheels. 580 West Bends for one but EVERY flywheel should be checked. They blow at high RPM and are like a BOMB goin...

Just take the side cover off & turn over by hand.

Rear bearing hangers point to a Clark 440 fun kart (copy of a Dart) that has had a lot of work done. Azusa motor mount, Airhart / Dart / Margay style brake bracket, etc.......

Take lots of better pics. Brackets, lower frame rails, bottom of steering shaft, spindles & hangers, axle brackets etc......

Chilton was the name of the tank. Repo's are made now. Personally I like the look of the painted tank. Cheaper than chrome & gives a different look. As far as the engine goes..... probably not what your going to want to run. More than likely it's 80cc. Clutch is very heavy & will snap the crank. Lot...

Rear wheels may have spacers in them that can be taken out to narrow them as Ted suggested.
