Re: GEM Box Mufflers or

Heck, Bob, I thought Vincie had them, but I looked at his website and I was wrong. Hope to at least say "hi" when you're out here. Ted

Percival on eBay

eBay item No. 154144375699 Appears to be a salvageable '61 Percival. Frame, steering and pan are all that's there. The late Percivals were way nicer karts than their early tanks. I have no dog in this fight, just thought I'd mention what can make a pretty nifty kart. If anyone emails me, I have a co...

Re: Aluminum 1" axle

Jack Canady has made me axles as well. Jack is great at these things, if he's feeling up to it. See my PM to you. Ted

Re: Aluminum 1" axle

Rick, Don Axe makes very nice axles. I have one of his steel ones in my Photon. Sorry I don't have his contact since my old computer crashed, but someone will. Ted

Re: Palmini hydraulic brake

The brake actually worked better than could be expected. I had a '59 dead axle Bug, and no money to buy a new Wasp. I added Reed engineering live axle kit, a nice engine mount and Reed sissy plates and pads. I used a new Palmini brake we had in stock. It made a very light kart. I got a very early pr...

Re: West Bend 700 checkerboard stickers

Hey, Paul! Long time no-talk-to. I think Charlie Craibe has located and sent a couple stickers for his engines. I appreciate the thought. I will sure be glad to be finished with these two engines! 610's and 820's are a lot easier to rebuild. I hope you are well. Ted

Great pictures of Al and Jack. I miss 'em a lot! Jack's been helping me with Charlie Craibe's 700 5 port engines. Ted

Re: i believe this is a gk800 ?

Hi, Ed. Welcome to the rat race! Good folks here. This is an earlier Go Kart 800. It's a good kart to work with if you're small enough to fit into it. I sold 800's in '61, after this version was built. Too bad they cut the pans full of holes, but it looks as though it can easily be restored, as long...

Re: Frank Moore

Here's one for the books. I was walking out of the CAD room five minutes ago and there in a corner on an old computer I saw some paper with printing on it. Eureka! There was Frank's contact info along with some others. I can rebuild my address list at least to an extent! Ted :)
