Guys, I have been inactive for awhile and am coming back. I haven't seen any recent mention of John McCovey. Is John still playing with putt-niks? Thx...Ron

Re: SEARS MODEL 300 GO KART
Yes, let me know cost. There is a collar that comes out from the hole at the center of the bracket. It should be wide enough to put a hose clamp on to hold the hose to the carb. Same on both sides for twin engines. The catalog offered the kart with the 4-cycle or an optional AH58 or two AH58s. Also,...

Re: SEARS MODEL 300 GO KART
Bobby, PM me your mailing address and I'll send you an actual size tracing of the seat back brackets. The filter measures 6.5 in. O.D. and 3.0 in. thick. It is a standard auto air filter but I don't know what brand or part number.
This info was sent to me by Phil Riley of Topeka, MS.

Re: SEARS MODEL 300 GO KART
Do you need the OD of the filter element or the outline of the sheet metal casing that mounts to the back of the seat that the auto filter element mounts into? I can provide tracings of the entire assembly if that's what you need. I was going to make a couple assemblies up but never got it done.

Hi Richard, where are you located. I have a Panther X with a 101 also. I was raised parking lot racing. I'm in Memphis TN and can find little vintage activity around here.

Tom tells me that this is not the same Neal frame that he has. Oh well, maybe these pics will be of some help to someone sometimes. Does anyone know which Neal mine is? There doesn't seem to be a lot of people who know much about them ....Ron

Re: 1962-63 Neal Torsion flex
Tom, since this is an uncommon frame, I decided to post pics here for all who might be interested can see. The Neal Torsion-Flex frame has engine mounts on both sides. Most of these pics are of the left side mount. The pics are of from a rough unrestored parts kart so look past the rust. Pic 1 shows...
