Dave,
I have an unrestored Kurtis Kart in good condition. It has been cleaned up but not restored. Send me your email and I will send the photos. My tank is rectangular not round. Mine came with a WB580 but I put a 700 on it.
Best regards,

Santa Maria Vintage Kart Event Aug. 24-26
I would like to make forum members aware of an an event we are having in conjunction with the VKCA and Santa Maria Air Museum, Fri Aug 24, to Sun Aug 26. As you may know, the club and track is one of the oldest still in existence and one of the best in the country (ave summer temp 72 degrees !). It ...

Re: Kurtis Kraft go kart
Kyle, tried to upload some photos of my Kurtis but no luck. You can email me at sgrundfor@gmail.com and I will send the photos. I believe mine is a 1959. It is un-restored original and has the live axle with a WB580. I have a photo of one with a Koenig twin. Yours appears to be a dead axle one. Scot...

Power Products H81/ah82 hop up
Does anyone have rings for a PP h81. Mine is a converted chainsaw motor with the thicker rings. It is standard bore of 2.5" same as AH82. Rings are .059 thick. Also, would be interested in thin ring piston and rings. Who is the Power Products go to person? I also need advice on cylinder to case gask...

Re: Maico/Engray 175cc Kart engine
Yes, The Maico is mounted behind the seat. It was about 75 degrees the day I stuck the piston. Probably would be a good idea to have some sort of ducting? I'm not sure but it may have originally been run on Alcohol. It was put away in the early 1960's. When I got it there were twin flatback carbs in...

Maico/Engray 175cc Kart engine
Hi All, Does anyone know how many degrees BTDC this engine should be set? It supposedly has 11 to 1 compression. I will try to download ad showing engine. I think it is about 26 degrees BTDC. It is a piston port induction. I stuck (melted a corner of the piston top) a piston last time out and don't ...

Re: 1959 Kurtis Kraft Kart
Tom, Thanks, great photo of the Konig Kurtis. Do you have any other shots? How did the kart perform? Must have a ton of power but handling? My Kurtis has torsion bars and friction shocks front and rear. I assume you set the torsion bars to provide equal distribution of weight on all 4 corners. How d...
