Ted, A Mc 91 series engine would be in the ball park performance wise with the 4 stroke clone that is on there now. Rupp took over the Lancer brand for a year or 2 . I believe this is a 65 but not sure. Yes, most rear engine karts set up as a single have the engine on the right side. It is a Lancer GT , has differant wheels , needs a 2 stroke engine of some kind. Good luck.

Rob, You can ride it next year , plus it will be on a frame that fits USins betta . The Lancer was a little tight for us modern fellas,ha ha ha . :oops:

Maybe the copy by Century of the 59 Rupp came out in 60 and the square tube was earlier than the one I have (which is the same as the one Pearl has).

Century was an exact copy of a 1959 Dart frame , with a live axle .
