Re: The Fantastic '4'

I am imptressed with the pictures. Those are some very nice vintage karts,

On a side note I have tried to contact Ted Johnson in the past but with no avail. I would love to talk with him and others about Homelite engines.

Re: Event Schedule changes - important

I hate to see the Delmar event cancelled. It was the only one I could attend as the Wisconsin events are on saw race weekends.

Re: Kart Shipping Resource Needed

Has anyone tried using private carriers through uship.com ? Sometimes you can get some pretty low bids but also there is a very big trust factor. I have hauled loads for others from uship and had loads shipped for me also.

Re: Mr. Will Rogers and the CT Alloy question

Ted,

I do not have very many of the DA/KA series engines. I am mainly a saw guy so I try to keep most of those for saw racing. I sent 1 to Will and kept a few. I know where more are located but the owners does not want to part with them.

Re: Mr. Will Rogers and the CT Alloy question

I will try to post a couple pictures of some of my McCulloch 2 man saw engines and Merc-Disston KB series twin cylinder engines. Will owns 2 of the Merc Disstons pictured. I have more buried around here as well as the 9HP DA series twin cylinders.

Re: Mr. Will Rogers and the CT Alloy question

Ted,

I assume the Disston's you were referring to were some of the Disston/Mercs I sent Will this winter. I am glad to hear they worked out. Will does a TRULY AMAZING job with them.

Re: My Copperheads first win

Bob, Go to 11 pin. I just ordered another 11 pin tonight from Madsens. If you are serious about running a pair of V-12's then it should run much larger than a 11 pin but you willl need a large tail bar when you get bigger in dia. Wait this is a kart site so I need to stop. In all of those bender par...

Re: Mr. Will Rogers and the CT Alloy question

I am glad someone had Will's phone number. He called Sunday morning when I was out grinding a load of feed for the calves. I wanted to call him back but did not have his number. This winter I sent him several twin cylinder Mercury saw engines. I want to see how they worked out for him.
