on the adaption, we went to ace hardware, obtained oversized studs, drilled-retappped manifold. played with gasket hole opennings. for us, just to be easier and simple to work with. carb openning already there

at dart kart speedway in the late 60's, our b-limited wb820 had a big-j connecting rod break. took out so much of the engine, they had to sweep the track before the next heat. jefferies was there and did guarantee his rod. we ran those 820's hard and with the big-j rod's, we were finally able to fin...

rolf, an idea, i realize that any used carb we buy today could be modified for alky, but if you list the original use, IE gas or alky may help in a purchase.

just trying to add some class to work bench area !! my dad was the one. box of parts would come in from wiseco and when home for dinner, straight downstairs. i'd go down later, his tie was over a chair, he'd be working away, white shirt and suit pants still on. no, he didn't wear a suit to the track.

just rebuilt one some years ago. note the front end steering, the frame is offset. agree with rob on seat arrangement. i'm not computer smart to 'share-transfer' but i've got 29 pics of the panther on my-myspace acct which is public and does show the rear struts. didn't notice any pics on the margay...

back from peeling potatoes (its easter), the button head screws can be purchased at hardware stores. you may have to cut to length. because of the width of the head, no washer is required and that is nice inside the breaker box as sometimes a washer 'lays' against the points bracket. i haven't worke...

the 92 i used at b-ville this past march was the mallory 400 that i purchased from advanced auto (11.95). the length of the condensor overlaps the mag plate bolts. i use 'button(allen)' head bolts. this way the condensor lays flat on the mag plate. pay attn to the open clip that attaches to the brea...
